In the early days of Edison Price Lighting, our founder Edison Price strove for efficiency, starting with designing and producing the first efficient, glare-less parabolic troffers. Edison Price crafted an incredibly minimalistic design ethos, which resulted in refining each component of Edison Price Lighting products to the finest cuts and degrees—all in the name of efficiency and elegance. Edison Price and his team carefully considered each material and how much was necessary for production. Edison Price not only defined the modern lighting industry but also pioneered the early ‘green’ manufacturing movement.
Today, Edison Price Lighting crafts and builds as sustainably as possible to sustain our belief that urban manufacturing benefits everyone and that it can be done with minimal impact to the environment. The methods in which we source, produce, and dispose of materials are meant to minimize our impact on the environment. Our American factory sources locally whenever possible, further emphasizing sustainable design and manufacturing.
