The WELL Building Standard™ version 2
WELL v2™ is a rating-based system certifying green buildings that promote health and wellness in communities.
Buildings can receive WELL certification based on an accumulation of points in sustainable, wellness-promoting design categories including sound, materials, innovation, community—and light.
Drawing on expertise from practitioners, medical professionals, public health experts, WELL users, and building scientists around the world, WELL v2 has developed strategies aiming to enhance health by:
• Setting performance standards
• Defining operational protocols and policies
• Fostering cultures of health and well-being
